Interesting East Tour

The first visit on this tour is one of the ten directional temples : Pura Goa Lawah ( also named  Bat temple from the hundreds of bats) which was  built to honor the god Maheswara. Then we stop at Semarapura to see the Kerta Gosa complex a remnant from the Dewa Agung dynasty :   “Hall of Justice” and the Bale Kambang. The ceiling was painted by Wayan Kayvan in 1942 and depicts episodes from the story of king Sutasoma.

Close to Candi Dasa  we look around in a real Bali Aga village :Tenganan,  where we can still find the original layout and social organization of a typical village, written in the holy book known as the Usana Bali ( the chronicle of Bali).
