Located close to Ubud, Pejeng and Bedulu was once an important seat of the Pejeng Kingdom.
We visit an archeological museum which houses the turtle shaped sarcophaguses from Bangli 300 BC,
then we see the Kebo Edan or the Crazy Buffalo Temple which is famous for its 3m high statue called the Giant of Pejeng.
Pura Pusering Jagat or the Navel of the World Temple also on our route:  dating from around 1329- this is the temple where couples come to pray to have children.
Pura Penataran Sasih which was once the state temple of the Pejeng Kingdom have the largest single piece cast drum in the world.
Yeh Puluh has an amazing 25 m long carved cliff-wall  between rice fields.
Goa Gajah dates back to the 13th century and its T shaped cave contains symbols of Ganesha the elephant headed god.
Pura Taman Ayun is situated in a gorgeous park surrounded by a wide moat near the village of Mengwi in the south of Bali. Built in 17th century Taman Ayun literally means a "beautiful garden' and it is one of the most attractive temple of Bali. Created by the Raja of Mengwi as a 'Pura Kawiten' or family temple, this is a special temple where the deified ancestors of the Raja’s Dynasty of Mengwi and other important gods are honoured.

At lunch time you have an option to taste the famous Bali Babi Guling (roasted pork with spices) and take a 1-2 hour break to wonder around Ubud, see the market, shops, enjoy a cup of real fresh coffee..
